Rented house, landlord wants works done. Never had any contact with landlord as everything goes through the agent.
Permit parking only, about £22 a day, will be here for 5 days. Builders currently throwing a hissy because I should be paying for their parking

It’s between the builders and the landlord (via the agent)
Nothing to do with you- don’t get involved

Samcro · 13/12/2019 07:58

i think they pay.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 13/12/2019 07:58

Excellent thank you. I thought that but wanted to double check

Call agents, its the landlords responsibility, naff all to do with you.

Nevernotrenovating · 13/12/2019 08:00

Agree don’t get involved. Landlords responsibility.

WooMaWang · 13/12/2019 08:01

They should pay and then add the parking charge to their bill for your landlord. Obviously.

ivykaty44 · 13/12/2019 08:02

Don’t call agents, nothing to do with you. The builder needs to talk themselves to whoever has hired there services & that’s what you tell the builders...talk to the people that hired you as it’s nothing to do with me and I can’t get involved

Houseworkavoider · 13/12/2019 08:05

Builders should contact the landlord and invoice them for the parking charge.
You are in no way responsible for paying for this!

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 13/12/2019 08:07

Thanks guys, just needed someone to confirm that Grin

Agree with everyone else, but to add... did this builder come around and give a quote to someone? Usually that’s when they ask about parking restrictions and how that will work. It could be someone else told them that the tenants will give them visitor passes (without actually asking you).

Still nothing to do with you.
