Life overhaul

I'm 6-7 stone overweight.
Lonely as hell.
Liver issues.
Can't have children.
Single.
I look and feel awful.
Where do I start? Please don't say slimming world etc as I can't stand groups like that. I've been there and I can't bare it.

Bless you, you sound so fed up. Write a list and rate them in accordance with what you feel most fed up with. Then start those that you can do something about. Park the others.
Pick out those you can do something about and write three small things you can do to improve.

It all sounds so much but you can tackle one thing now, one in the new year, etc. Lonely sticks out as being the most important thing on your list to me. If you had some people to meet up with regularly, you would gain in confidence and energy and you might find it easier to work on the bigger things. A walking club, cards, book club? Aim to find some enjoyment in one thing and take it from there... Wishing you the best.

Sometimes when you are fed up and feeling negative, food feels like a only pleasure so overeating is common. A few lifestyle changes can make the world of difference. First of all try going for a brisk hour long walk everyday, purchase a nutribullet and make good healthy smoothies. Spend less time on facebook and social media ( this can be particularly toxic without us realising). Get a new hairdo and invest in some decent make up so you will feel better in your appearance. Drink more water. Try put some money aside if you are able to so each time you lose a stone you can shop for new clothes. Also have a clear out of your home, have a good spring clean and make your personal space a place you like to be in.

Write a list of 10 things that make you happy instantly, and 10 things that you feel good after you do them.

Try to do one thing from each list every day.
After a week, you will be a bit happier.

For now just start these 2 lists. You may realise that you have been neglecting yourself so much that you find it difficult to come up with 10 things, but just make a start.

You need to look after yourself, be kind to yourself and be friends with yourself. Good luck.
