SAD and vitamin D supplements

For the last few years I have started to feel really down at this time of year. I don't generally have a reason to feel unhappy so I thought maybe it's because of the weather.

I spend a lot of my time indoors.

I just have a real craving for the summer. I take 2 weeks off during August (have a very busy full time job running my own business so don't get many breaks).

Has anyone tried vitamin D supplements? Or anything else?

Hi!

I take a daily spray vitamin d and an omega 3 capsule every day! I suffer with SAD and have found taking these vitamins alongside the use of a naturally wakening sun lamp to be making a huge difference for me this year. I’ve also been forcing myself out even in the miserable weather because I know the benefits it brings me. No such thing as bad weather just bad clothing is what I tell myself while wrapping as many layers as possible on me! 😂

Yes I think you are right, I must get outlet even if it is crappy weather. But the weather this last few weeks has been really dire 50mph winds and heavy rain 😩😩.

I might look at the lamps.

I took my first tablets today (I took a double dose) and I managed to decorate the Christmas tree which has been up since Sunday, so maybe it will work. My poor family, I've been like a bear with a sore head!
