Proxy vote

Im away at the moment. A relative has a proxy vote for me. Will I ever find out if my wishes were carried out? Do I just have to trust them or will I get a copy or something

I did a proxy vote for my husband at the last election and now we live abroad so have asked his parents to vote for us. You just have to trust the person you asked to vote for you will carry out your wishes. Ballot papers are anonymous so there is no way of tracking them

If you are concerned the person you asked will not do ask you said then for the next election register for a postal vote

Thanks. I didn't know if they checked up on some or a few to make sure it's as expected. Next time I will do a postal one.
