If you've free time today find out what you can do to help by going to your local office.
I'm sure they'll be appreciative

As usual, DH was probably one of the first to vote today. He's usually first through the door, and was meant to be picking someone up at 7am, so he needed to make a quick getaway. I'll be rerouting my walk to walk and voting then, again I always do this. We're on the front page of the electoral role, so I get a few extra seconds to see how many voters have already been in on that page.

Begrudgingly voted- this is why I didn’t want a GE- I knew however I voted I’d feel dirty afterwards!

Voted Labour. Probably won't make a difference but got to try somehow to get the scumbag Boris and his vile friends out.

At least I won't feel ashamed of myself.

Thanks Do to be honest it’s pointless anyway, we are in a very safe labour seat. But thoughts:

  • agree with the discs approach of the Tories. But struggling to vote for them because , well Boris is an idiot, they’ve gone way too far the other way on austerity and cuts, I don’t want hard BREXIT and various other reasons.
  • can’t vote Labour, I don’t agree with their fiscal policies, nationalisation of anything and think the welfare state is destroying society. Plus the whole “woke”” culture. No
  • LibDems - can’t agree with their views on gender
  • Green - worthy but not rounded

No racist or single policy parties thank you, and our independent likes Nigel Farage, so... 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Discs Hmm *Fiscal

I've voted. Tory stronghold area here. Have voted tactically in the vain hope of ousting them.
Was proud to have 18 yr old dd with me, exercising her democratic right to vote for the first time.

Baguetteaboutit · 12/12/2019 12:26

My family's WhatsApp group has gone nuts, lots of dramatic accusations in both ways, Merry fucking Christmas.
