I can't sleep so thought I'd come and ask what has been the pit and the peak of your day today?

Pit: Several inconsiderate and dangerous drivers driving behaviour on my journey to and from work

Peak: my husband called me up to say he would help me with something I’d mentioned to him earlier was likely to make me anxious.

PeakI got to work on time and remembered to go to staff briefing. Pit I got into a bit of an argument with a student and he was very rude to me. it was over a latex glove and the fact I was being assertive.

Pit: I can’t get to sleep, and I’m up early in the morning. I feel pretty wired now, so I know tomorrow I’ll be knackered all day.

Peak: watching my DSs in their nativities today. Absolutely wonderful.

Peak: my husband had surgery he’s been needing yesterday and is going to start getting better

Pit: hate to bring politics into it but I’m feeling genuinely stressed about who to vote for and I can’t for the whole fucking thing to be over

Pit...I have got a horrid cold and have been feeling dreadful. I nearly passed out innthe shower.
Struggling a bit for a peak but my DS made me a nice cup of tea when he got in from school.

Pit my Year 7 class were really naughty today and wouldn't settle (I have them after break and I think someone had put something in the water - they were hyper)

Peak watching The Apprentice with DS and having a really good talk (he's 15 and usually grunts a lot)

All our Peaks involved really simple things with loved ones 💛

Pit:- I am not what you would call an emotional person. I had a very teary morning due to lots of memories of childhood abuse being brought up in counselling.
My 15 year old daughter unknowingly bought me a tshirt with “Namaste, Namaste, Namaste” as an ironic statement - I’m not exactly zen, either... (But she didn’t know about the counselling session, of course - just magnificent timing.) It was to make me laugh, and I did. I’m wearing it now.

Pit..wired at bedtime..possibly reacting to full moon...fell asleep, then woke up for a couple of hours,...then laid awake for a couple..then maybe got another hour

Peak..gorgeous sunshine..met friends on the beach..Can’t beat winter holidays

Your classic Backstabbing Work Bitch trying to steal my job right in front of my eyes was the pit.

The peak was my son giving me a sneaky kiss and cuddle at school (after checking nobody was watching of course Grin)
