Oh no, David Bellamy has died.😦

Just that, he was in his eighties and had been recently, but for a certain generation he was one of the big naturalists on tv. Passionate and intelligent. He lived near us and you would see him often about always friendly

My Dad worked with him way back - said he was just like you saw on tv, it wasn’t an act

Ah, that is sad. He was so engaging and enthusiastic. I think he got many people interested in the environment and ecology.

David Bellamy was massive when I was a kid, vanished overnight it seemed.
Sad news.

Ah, this is sad news.

He always came across as having a genuine passion for what he did, and his voice and style were just so distinctive, he was great.

RIP David.

He brought nature to the masses. RIP David x

So sad. I feel like I grew up with him. So many memories of watching him on TV. He made nature so interesting.

Lovely man.

But he was 86.
