Christmassy nibbles

Need some ideas for easy but yummy and festive nibbles to have at the weekend as we're having a couple of friends around for drinks. I'm planning to make a pot of mulled wine, the tree is up and am starting to feel festive. Will be busy with the kids bedtime before the guests arrive so need something simple but tasty, I need some inspiration!!

brie and cranberry tear and share is often a hit, and then i would do things like crisps with dips and crudites

Roll out a sheet of puff pastry, and cover with a layer of smoked salmon. Cut into strips and then twist them like cheese straws. Bake in the oven and serve with a dip made of creme fraiche and horseradish with a squeeze of lemon
