Leaving the NHS

Anyone else had enough...? I have 2 shifts left. I am absolutely forcing myself to go in for these last few shifts.

Feel like I'm abandoning a sinking ship.

Me! Although I don't have another job yet. I've just gone off sick though Sad

Where are you off to? Same type of work different sector?

AgathaMystery · 12/12/2019 15:01

Same kind of work but for a university.

One. Shift. Left.

I'm off sick with burnout for second time in as many years. I've handed in my notice. Don't know what to do next, but thinking of options.
I think you get a bit institutionalised in the NHS. That's certainly how I feel. I don't really know how to go about looking for any other sort of job!
Agree with leaving a sinking ship. If the Tories get in today as predicted, the NHS doesn't have another 5 years left, and I'm no longer willing to sacrifice my health trying to keep my service afloat. Sad

Good luck in your new job!
