So I had a GTT on thursday.. at 10 past 9 in the morning.. was told to fast from 12 the night before.. I did but what I had for my dinner was really bad that evening.. at around half 6 I had a chinese.. chicken balls chips and gravy, then at around 7pm had a bit of chocolate cake with honeycomb icecream.. so had the first blood test at 9.10am.. and had 3 blood tests and when I got told my results they said the first blood test came back abnormal but the other two were fine! So now because of this I have to get scanned every 2 weeks which is about 40 mins away from where I live, and also have the baby in that hospital to and do the wee finger prick thing 7 times a day! What if I effected the first blood test by eating that chinese and cake? And maybe I dont even have diabetes ! I was told I had a perfect bmi

So I got out of hospital 4 hours ago thank fuck! So I got iron tablets.. dont really understand cause when I got my iron tested yesterday it was at 112 which is good.. then I got it retested and it was a bit lower but only like 104 or somethin and they gave me iron tablets.. that wouldnt explain why i fainted or the lightheadedness would it??? Have to take 1 iron tablet a day

That's a dose to prevent you becoming anemic rather than because you already are, I'm on 3 tablets a day to treat.

Wonder why I go all sweaty and fainty

I didn't actually faint while I was pregnant but I felt like I was going to, for me it was when I'd done too much or it was too hot or both. Never got to the bottom of why.

Yeah exactly I think it's when I get to warm!! And then I freak myself out cause I'm terrified of faintin

I carried one of those bottles that keeps things really cold so I always had cold water to hand, I think it helped
