Has anyone used Asda delivery?

I usually go aldi but I am unable to now as I will be without my car so I am going to try out Asda home delivery. Has anyone had any issues with their groceries? I am ordering a lot of fruit and veg.. so are they fresh? Damaged? Or are they ok? I always thoroughly check them when I'm out shopping and get the longest date which I'm assuming isn't going to happen when I do an online shop.

I use Asda for delivery once a month and generally have no problems. I think with all supermarkets a lot depends on the local manager. I have 3 Tescos reasonably local. 2 are fine but the biggest one always has fruit and veg that goes off very fast.
2 Aldis, veg from one is fine, the other goes off quickly.

With Asda if anything is on a shorter than average shelf life (for the specific item) I get a message with the opportunity to reject it.

I have ASDA deliver groceries every week. They are good. However, you can reject anything you don't want.

You will be advised regarding what is not being delivered or what is short dated.

I have used them, they are quick to refund for any problems. Fruit and veg is fine. Only issue for me is stuff out of stock but they do flag those up in the online shop. Other issue is they don't have a much range as Sainsbury or Tesco. For basics it is fine.

Never had any issues. Just make sure you deselect the ‘accept subs’ for the items you really don’t want substituted!

I use to use ASDA but every week there were so many substitutes so I switched to Morrison's, had no issues at all with them.

I used to use them but got fed up of the rubbish substitutions. You can reject them but then I'd be missing a vital component of what I'd planned for dinner which was very annoying! I got mouldy fruit a couple of times, once I didn't notice until the delivery driver had left and I contacted them and they refunded the money really quickly with no questions.

I might have just had an unlucky experience but now I use Tesco and have had no issues, apart from a substitution for my favourite red wine, which was a little annoying 🍷

I use Asda for my monthly shop by far the cheapest around and its really easy to get a refund for anything damaged or close to its use by dates on the app and I've never had any trouble with the driver's they always fetch my shopping right to my door even though its 2 flights of stairs

Never used Asda.

We usually use Tesco. They are mostly reasonable. Substitutions if made are sensible and at no extra cost to us. But check dates because we've have had issues with items with ridiculously short dates not being mentioned on the paperwork. As in, a delivery at 9pm and stuff that's use by the same damn day.

We've also used Sainsbury's. They're sneaky with substitutes - if they substitute a more expensive item you're charged full price and given a voucher for the difference - which is only any good if you shop there again! They're also more expensive than Tesco generally.

Used to use them every week. They were ok. Since all the press about how they were enforcing the new contracts on their staff I have switched to Morrisons and find the quality and lack of substitutions better.
