Seriously, how can this mistake be made? To add insult I've obviously got the four free batteries and not the whole pack!
Now I have to go to the post office and queue to get a receipt and then try and get it somewhere else.
What's the crappest thing to turn up that you weren't expecting?

I've never seen the Easy Egg mix before - looks interesting. It is a different product to the No Egg egg replacer though, with quite different ingredients. The egg replacer is a very fine white powder. It will be fine for baking with but I doubt it will work for scrambling.
I've got lots of eggless cake recipes that don't use egg replacer by the way so if your replacement No Egg doesn't arrive in time, give me a shout and I will dig out a recipe for you.

Thank you. Although the chickpea water is useful to know as well. Friend of dd staying and is vegan. I am trying to go vegan but less bothered and don't eat muffins or cake really although bake a lot for the kids.

Interesting that you got to keep the coping saw. Although I suspect it's uses are limited.

Some types of vegan egg are best for cooking, others for scrambling.

There is a group for aquafaba on Facebook which is interesting, they document their successes and failures. Meringue features quite a lot.

My vegan egg is in a little box that looks like an egg box. Very cute.

Soya milk has some binding and raising properties so you don't always need an egg substitute if you use that. Also any recipes with mashed banana in can usually be done withiut an egg substitute. What specific type of muffin were you planning to bake? If its one I do, I am happy to share my recipe. It has taken me many years, trying lots of different recipes to find ones that seem to work consistently!

Am I the only one that wants to know who got the other batteries ?
Was that someone else that wanted vegan eggs too ? or did they order 4 batteries knowing that they would get 8 and are now disappointed that they didn't get the free ones ?

The majority of the population of the uk are white (85ish% I think?) is that what you mean op?
