Leslie Ash on TV this morning

I happened to see Leslie Ash on TV this morning saying her career ended when she became disabled because of getting a hospital superbug.

My memory is that her career ended, years before the illness, when she had lip fillers that went terribly wrong and she became the poster girl for the trout pout.

Sadly her face still looks very strange and could barely move her lips during the interview. I think it is a bit disingenuous of her to claim her career came to a halt when she became disabled, which is totally dreadful in itself, but not exactly the real reason as to why she could not find work anymore

@patroclus, no that is not what is being said at all. What is being discussed is that a woman is rewriting the narrative to present a different picture..

She is now saying she lost her career because of her disability, whereas she lost her career several years prior to the disability, because she, unfortunately, had a botched cosmetic surgery procedure.

@betaboo, that might be what you are saying. But others posters have been quite vile, based purely on her looks.

Does anyone remember many years ago she was in a relationship with Rowan Atkinson and there was a strange episode wherein she suffered temporary paralysis and couldn’t get out of bed. According to the papers of the time.
I always found that curious.
