A bit of advice please! 15 month old DS has had diarrhoea since Sunday. He isnt going any more frequently than usual but when he does its wet and explosive. He went twice yesterday.

No vomiting. Little appetite.

What can I give him food wise? He is teething badly so I'm giving him nurofen and a bit worried that is somehow making it worse.

Also.any tips for how to make clean up easier very much appreciated. He now has a bit of nappy rash poor thing.

Loose stools are very common with teething.

Just give him whatever food he will eat. Make sure he’s drinking plenty as well. It should clear up in a few days.

Thanks. I'm treating it as a tummy bug as the NHS says there is no link between teething and poo (tho I reckon you are right). Obviously I'm off work and he is not in childcare just in case he is infectious.
