All,

I know emotions are running high regarding Labour/Conservatives.

We all have reasons why we vote the way we do and I am not staring this thread to get into a slanging match as to who is right and who is wrong.

Honestly based on what has happened so far what do you think is going to happen. No rude comments please!

Let me start...

  • Conservatives will definitely be the largest party. Majority of 35.

Slim Tory Maj.
QUESTION: Will Corbyn resign if (when) he fails to get a majority?

minisdriver · 11/12/2019 19:38

Tory majority. With Corbyn decimated, hopefully.

I work in a politics related industry and have spent last month utterly immersed in this shit show.

Much to my displeasure, I think all the hung parliament stuff is desperate optimism. I predict a 40-50 seat Tory majority.

I would really really like to be wrong.

I think a Tory majority. The prediction I saw of 339 seats seems about right, which means 311 for others, of whom about 5 will not take the seats and 1 is the Speaker, so 305 in opposition.

Labour lose seats in parts of Wales, Midlands and the North to the Tories.
SNP gain a few in Scotland.
Lib Dems maybe gain two or three seats.

I agree Labour will lose seats in Wales given the dissatisfaction with their performance in the last 2 years there and that Wales votes for Brexit, but may have a slight regain in Scotland. They need a large number of unlikely constituencies so to win will be a big leap of faith for some as their manifesto is so left field.

I think possibly hung parliament but Labour would need ALL other parties/MPs to form coalition. Not sure they would simply prop up as the stakes too high for what they want.

I hope the Greens get more than one MP in this time.

Tory landslide

SNP landslide with Labour possibly gaining a couple of seats in Scotland
