Just wondering how long it takes to recover from a cesarean section? Is it normal to be getting burning pain and sharp pain in the muscle around scar and other areas of stomach 7 months on please?

12 years in and I still get an occasional twinge and have completely numb spots too. 2 sections, massive overhanging apron too Sad

I would say it's normal, I'm 11 years on and it's okay but as the previous poster said I might get the odd twinge and the feeling on the area is slightly less sensitive.

Just to add, maybe get it checked if you are worried, no one will think you are a time waster, a ceaserian is a major operation imo.

I'm 10mo PP and have no pain around my scar area ever, but I do still have some numbness. I guess everyone is different, but if the pain is impacting your life then it might be worth getting it checked.

Nope, I've had two sections and never have any discomfort.
