I don't know how I'm going to make it to the morning Sad I took 2x paracetamol about 3 hours ago, but it's not working. Is it safe for me to take ibuprofen?
I can't cope with this pain

Yes you can take ibuprofen with paracetamol!

YouBoggleMyMind · 09/12/2019 22:25

You can take codeine too on top of all those.

Hold a piece of raw peeled garlic against it or chew some actual cloves if you have them. The old cure in our family is to hold some whiskey in your mouth to kill the pain and infection. Anbesol is great if you can get some tonight.

Obviously don't swollow the alcohol since you've taken painkillers as well.

Ice compress!! On the outside Not inside the mouth of the affected area Only for short bursts for a few mins, but only thing that helped me

You can take ibuprofen as well as paracetamol, if necessary. If you are able to, get some Nurofen+, which contains codeine, from a pharmacy.

Also try putting something very cold on the tooth, such as an ice-cube, or wrap a bag of frozen peas in a tea towel and hold it against your cheek. Rinsing with Listerine might also help.

Toothache can be hell, I hope you manage to get to a dentist tomorrow Flowers

Thank you everyone, I'm falling apart. I hope I can get this wisdom tooth out asap.
Should I take 200mg or more?
Also I'm breastfeeding
