Anyone have this doll? 2.5yo DD is devastated!

My 2.5yo DD has lost her Corolle “mon premier bébé” bath doll (identical to the one in the image). She is absolutely devastated as this doll comes everywhere with her and is cuddled to sleep etc. Her big brother is also sobbing as he has bought clothes for the doll for his sister for Christmas (contributing some of his own pocket money, no less!). The worst part is that the doll came from France originally and is not easy to replace in the UK. There is one remaining one from a third-party seller on Amazon, but it is £75+ which is just not feasible for us, especially so close to Christmas. So does anyone have an unloved one of these sitting around at home, that you’d be willing to part with? I’m happy to pay for it (just not £75!). DD’s had been well-loved so it certainly doesn’t need to be in pristine condition. Thank you so much for any help!

i don't have the doll but there is one here going for £33 but in a different outfit. there is also one in the same outfit going on a different website here for £41. hope that helps a little x

If they cost about £25 new in America then it's going to cost about £50 here because of shipping and import duty.

Thanks very much everyone! That £33 Smallable one is not the same, sadly - it has “brown eyes that do not blink”, apparently, whereas ours has blue eyes which do blink.

The eBay one from the US could be a good last resort option but the delivery time is very slow and cost is very high. I hadn’t thought of German Amazon, though - that’s a great idea! I will check that out now.

In case you haven’t used Amazon.de before you can change the language to english at the bottom of the page (although it might do it automatically if it can tell you are based in UK).

You could try doing an image look up on the image to see if it comes up on any other websites - there might be some odd toy shops /other shops where it is sold but not given its full name so not coming up on a text search...

Google Shopping shows several sites selling similar dolls with different outfits for around £35 - £40. If your DD isn’t fussed about the clothes looks like some are the same doll underneath?

Hamleys is the only shop I've ever seen Corolle dolls in the UK in person. Might be worth a try?
