Doctor or pharmacist today?

History: Been off work since last Tuesday. Started with severe tiredness (sleeping 20 hours a day and a mild UTI which I treated with over the counter treatment and cranberr juice - just about gone)

Thursday cold broke out, followed by an ear infection in one ear. Doctor gave me medication.

Today, ear infection has spread to other ear. I'm still in pain with first infected ear. I now have infected eyes.

Can the pharmacist help with infected eyes, or am I better off going to the doctor? Also, if I don't feel any better tomorrow, I really won't feel up to work still, so am I better to contact the doctor today so they have more history, in case I need to discuss a sick note tomorrow. Either way, I don't feel up to either trip.

You can get eye drops OTC for eye infections.

What medication do you have for the ear infection?

Ear calm contained acetic acid.

You could ring your pharmacy and see what they advise. Saves you wasting a trip and then when you speak to the surgery you can say you've already sought advice from a pharmacist

Pharmacy for eye infection. You can buy the ear calm over the counter as well if you need it.
