How do I balance studies and DD?

I've just gone back to university (healthcare course) and have a 7 year old who I share custody of with her Mum. Uni is typically 9-5 or 9-4 monday to Friday when not on placement. DD is in breakfast club and after school club + wraparound care most days. I'm really struggling with getting enough work done without it eating into our weekends too much. Does anyone have any tips? I'm feeling really stressed and the work is building up and I don't really know what to do. Everyone else on my course is 18-20 and have no caring responsibilities so I find it hard to talk to them about it

I recently finished a post grad certificate related to my job and it was really hard managing this with full time work and a family. I managed it by having some very late nights!

That sounds difficult @yellowsun. How old are / is your DC? Do I just resign myself to having no balance until I graduate? Xmas Sad I know it probably sounds stupid but this is way harder than I thought it was going to be!

It was difficult but do-able! DS was 9-10 so a little bit older.
