Why am i so hungry 😩

I have been RAVENOUS the past few weeks. Like I could just eat and eat.

Trying to eat relatively healthily but all I want is crap.

I am a size 12 and I run a few times a week to keep my stomach at bay but the way it’s going I fear it’s going to break from it’s moorings and expand beyond my control. Usually when I run the weight falls off me but I’m eating so much just now that i am maintaining (and possibly slowly gaining).

Is it the time of year?? What’s going on?

Not pregnant btw (biological impossibility given the lack of sex 🥺)

I was going to say PMT as I eat everything in the house then but if it's been a few weeks I guess not...I would blame xmas and the stress of xmas. I blame it for everything at the minute

Have you started or stopped taking any medication/vitamins recently? Have you got any other symptoms like tiredness or feeling low?

Both medication and illness have been triggers for me to uncontrollable eating in the past. OTOH so have laziness and boredom.

I’m laying down fat for winter, I’ve decided. Actually, I also woke up starving and texted my friend who felt same. Maybe there’s something in the air? She had Jaffa cakes and Nutella on toast for breakfast.... I have been jealous about this ALL day!

Could it be stress? My work has been mental recently and I’ve been pulling crazy hours. It’s the only thing that’s really changed

Maybe it’s carbohydrates?
If you eat carbs/ sugar your body produces an insulin spike and you feel hungry every half an hour.
Try to up your protein, green veg and fats and put the carb heavy food down. It really reduces your appetite in my experience.

I feel your pain, ive gained nearly half stone over last few weeks, have stopped going to the gym and have given in to all cravings of chocolate and mince pies. Actually felt very ill today after last nights mixture of beer, pizza and quality street 😢.

It could be stress, maybe being thrown off your normal schedule and grabbing what you can and when?

I've got no will power, if crap food is in the house then i have to eat it .

Could you be coming down with this cough virus that’s doing the rounds? Everyone who has that is starving. Could you have type two diabetes? That made my pal continually hungry.

Tiredness makes me overeat cars

Stress/lack of sleep/ Tiredness cause cravings.
