Trifle dish!

What do you make trifle in?

I need to get something as I am hosting Christmas this year and don’t have anything I can use. However everything on offer either has a massive foot (I don’t have a massive fridge) or has really sloping sides so we would get about 2 trifle sponges at the bottom and would need a pint of cream on the top. I would like something clear so you can see the layers... any ideas on where Inmiht get such a thing... oh and to be big enough to serve 10.

I make trifle in a glass trifle bowl - it was my mums when I was a little girl and I remember taking trifle to school for the Xmas party and sitting in the car with it on my lap and it was ENORMOUS but now it’s not so big!!

Have a look in your local charity shops, they normally have loads of cut glass bowls.

😁 Best trifle bowl ever. Somehow I now own 3 of them!

Another vote for trying your local charity shops first, they are crammed with just the type of dish you need.

Another idea is a pyrex casserole or bowl, not too expensive and will have more uses than a dedicated trifle bowl.

Weirdly, i noticed that Waitrose has a really nice trifle dish in at the moment. I didn't buy it because I don't make or eat trifle, but if I did I would definitely have done so!
