Can anyone recommend a gravity blanket please

I've read so many reviews about how good they are. I currently sleep with a couple of heavy blankets on top of the duvet ad have done for years as the weight makes me feel comfier. Then I heard about gravity blankets and they sound amazing.

Does anyone have one. Are they as good as the reviews say. And can anyone recommend a good one that is under £150.

Hi. I have one. It's sat in the top of my wardrobe!
It didn't really stop me from tossing and turning. And it was a little uncomfortable sleeping on my side because the wait of the blanket would drag my arm down and the weight made my hips ache a bit. At the time I was sharing a standard double with my husband and it just didn't really work. I've been meaning to retry it as am in a super king now (it would have to go on top of my side of a shared duvet), but unfortunately my three year old crawls into bed with me most nights. They're ok for a nap during the day, and probably work if you're in a bed alone. Personally I find that listening to sleep stories on the CalmApp (esp railway journeys) is more effective. I also have a large cat that creeps into my room at night, lies on top of me and pins me to the mattress, which is not dissimilar to lying under a gravity blanket.

We have them & have found them to be fantastic. DD does sometimes feel claustrophobic with hers due to SPD flare ups, but at other times it's the most relaxed I've ever seen her when sleeping.

We have this one in a 8kg double ...

Mine is from Senso-Rex and nearly a year down the line, I really like it. It should be about 10% of your body weight.

We have a super king bed as I sleep under covers even in a heatwave while DP sleeps with a summer duvet that is wafer thin all year round 😂

The link I posted has king size too 👍🏻

Posted too soon.

We also have a king size bed too though & the weighted blanket tends to slip off if it hangs over the edges of the bed too far as it's weight drags it off. We've found the double stays put much better

That's a good point about it slipping off. The layer of blankets constantly end up on the floor at the moment which drives me mad 🤔🤣

The gravity blanket is worse as it takes you with it. At least mine did a couple of times when we had a bigger one on bed. Felt like I was being dragged out 🤪

Thought I would give you an update. DP got me my blanket. It is absolutely awesome. I just wish I had got one years ago.

Im actually sleeping through the night for the first time in years.

I've got the senso rex one. Worth every penny.

They are brilliant aren't they. So glad you found it helpful too

I love it. I want another now for lazing on the sofa. It's too heavy to drag up and downstairs. Apparently I have to save up and buy it myself 😂😂
