Since there has been such active discussion on the last 2 threads, here is a new one!

Bet there's loads more to come out on this. His arrogance is astounding. Dirty pig. I hope he gets a hard time at church on Christmas day

Cookit · 09/12/2019 17:03

In PA's interview he was referred to as 'Sir' throughout, I know that is the protocol but it's a bit dated. I wonder if the reporter had to curtsey as well?

I wondered if she had to curtesy. I bet she did.

I think your guess of what went down is right, Sunset. I doubt it’s the first or last time. He may not remember her at all but he must know she is probably telling the truth because it’s the kind of thing he has done.

GrimDamnFanjo · 09/12/2019 17:36

I think the public need to continue to vote with their feet. So no more charity events or appointments offered in the future.

I think GM speaking up for him would be frankly the nail in the coffin with a competent interviewer.

I would love it if the crowds booed Andrew on the walk to church.. or threw eggs..
I wonder what would happen?

I’ve thought about doing that sunset - I think there may be extra security that Wednesday Hmm

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 09/12/2019 18:14

Bad PR move having Andrew walk to church on Xmas day.
They should keep him hidden and rely on a traditional, boring walk.

Rhubarbisevil · 09/12/2019 18:24

DH and I were discussing this. DH said it’s a private family service so he has every reason to be there. I said he should stay home and open the port with Philip.

Rhubarbisevil · 09/12/2019 18:26

One thing that is crossing my mind as I read this... is it still acceptable for a 32 year old man to date a 19 year old girl?

Dowser · 09/12/2019 18:53

Certainly a few boos and hisses wouldn’t go amiss John Lewis
It would only take one to get the crowd going.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 09/12/2019 18:59

Oh do it JohnLewis!! Please!!

Nothing to stop people holding up placards saying 'Shame on you, sleaze ball' or some such thing.
'Liar , liar pants on fire'...

Ì think you can tell a lot about people when they insist on being addressed by title / status.

I think Private Eye would have been the source for this: when Andrew was in the Falklands (you know, getting scared sweatless shot at) there was a problem with what to call him. Couldn't really go around calling him Your Royal Highness, especially as he was supposed to be being Just One of Our Brave Boys. So they asked him, hoping of course for something along the lines of, "Call me Andrew, lads, we're all in this together". But what he told them they could call him was "H". Short for, yup, His Royal Highness.

ThatLibraryMiss · 09/12/2019 19:22

Anyone else see this on the BBC website and wonder what the royal family's approval rating is now?

Andrew, the good christian going to church to plead forgiveness for his sins

I wat Australian TV on youtube (like some of their documentaries) and their 'royal expert' said the Queen no longer walks to church, she goes by car and they think she will be accompanied in the car by PA.

One thing that is crossing my mind as I read this... is it still acceptable for a 32 year old man to date a 19 year old girl?

I've been thinking that, and a 19 year old who's sister you previously dated? A quite naive 19 year old? Well I suppose if you are insisting she be a virgin you won't find many your own age.

AnyMinuteNow · 10/12/2019 08:01

Is there no othee source of this stuff than the Daily Fail???

This thread is more like the DF, I don't read it, for a reason, but this thread is now only full of it, and boring for that.

I don't click on any of the links and a mix of sources would be more reliable than just one.

Who cares whether Q walks, or he walks with her.

Why isn't he being interrogated already, where's GM, whats happening with the case....

LittleSweet · 10/12/2019 08:09

I can't believe that PA is allowed to go to church on Christmas day with the family. I think it's disgusting and they obviously don't think he's done anything wrong. I used to like the Queen, but this has completely changed my opinion of her.

JohnLewisIain · 10/12/2019 09:17

Feel free to share other sources and pertinent insight please @AnyMinuteNow

ajandjjmum · 10/12/2019 09:18

You don't have to read it AnyMinuteNow! Smile

MollyButton · 10/12/2019 09:28

Before you say PA sees his own daughters differently - and maybe values them more... I can't forget that they announced that Beatrice was going to a school in Switzerland, only to be forced to pull out when the Headmaster was arrested for child abuse allegations.
There is no way that someone in PAs situation shouldn't have been able to investigate a school and hear the "rumours"before choosing it for his daughter. He may have thought that "Princess" magically protected her - or he just didn't care that much.

icantbecani · 10/12/2019 09:55

I think gm is probably dead.

SunsetBoulevard3 · 10/12/2019 12:23

@LittleSweet
My feelings too. She is head of the Church but she supports her son as a man who behaves with no morals to speak of. He will be in the car with her I bet, keeping him safe from the public. It makes a nonsense of the whole bloody system.

OP posts:
SunsetBoulevard3 · 10/12/2019 12:26

I'm also beginning to realise how powerless we really are as members of the public who pay for them, to effect any change. They are truly above the law, aren't they?
