An early night for me tonight, I have a cold brewing and want to ward it off.

A visit to our local NT place tomorrow as they have a festive trail going on for the kids and then tomorrow night we’ll go to the local light switch on.

Sunday morning is junior park run then we’re heading to a local museum for an event. Then I’m cooking a giant pig in blanket from our butcher which I have been looking forward too all week!

JustCheesz · 06/12/2019 18:54

Jingle bell ball!!

soulrunner · 06/12/2019 19:04

Manning the bottle tombola at the church Christmas fair. Don’t pretend you’re not jealous.

Greenbutterlfy566 · 06/12/2019 19:16

... still trying to get home. Cancelled train, replacement bus. Probably will be 1.5 hrs late :-(

Waxonwaxoff0 · 06/12/2019 19:44

Doing some community volunteering with DS's Beaver group in the morning, then he is going to a party in the afternoon. Sunday he has a swimming lesson and then I need to do a food shop. In the afternoon we are putting the tree up!

Holymolymackerel · 06/12/2019 19:50

Lazy morning tomorrow then school Christmas fayre in the afternoon followed by beef stew and strictly

Sunday will be a lazy morning then carol service early afternoon then present swapping with extended family at a local pub for tea.

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 06/12/2019 20:13

Taking DD and DGS to Alnwick tomorrow, then Sunday DW and I are putting up the decorations. Hopefully DGS will get through the weekend without sustaining yet another injury. On Wednesday he fell off the sofa holding his fire engine, so he now has a bruise shaped like an airhorn.

guffaux · 06/12/2019 20:38

staying in an NT cottage for the weekend - walking the grounds and deerpark, eating at the on-site restaurant, Saturday and for Sunday Lunch, and then candlelight carol service on Sunday, Christmas shopping at the nearby city on Monday before we return home.

happypotamus · 06/12/2019 20:42

Tomorrow I am working an extra 13hr shift, because I need some money and work really really needs some extra staff. Sunday: taking DC to church, tidying up, gettting them to do homework, putting up tree, writing some Christmas cards, tradition dictates we must eat a takeaway pizza after putting up the tree (I don't know why, DH started this tradition)

Beach. Swim. Meet up with friends. Sunbathe. Food

Dowser · 06/12/2019 22:20

Probably same on Sunday
And monday
And tues
And Wednesday

And so on

And ignore Christmas

Love holidays this time of year 👍

Christmas night out with friends. We're going for dinner and then to see Pete Tongue in concert
Sunday- Christmas shopping alone then having a family evening relaxing and eating home made cakes.

dementedma · 07/12/2019 14:36

Fighting off a stinking cold so lots of time in bed with book and laptop. In between that visited a friend’s bring and buy sale for some clothes bargains and have made a vat of soup. Now back in bed with fairy lights lit, listening to the rain. DH and DS have gone to Liverpool to watch the footy and will be driving back tonight.

tiredsleepysleep · 07/12/2019 14:38

I'm going to see Michael Bublé tonight!!! Eeeek!!! Kicking off Christmas in style! Xmas GrinXmas Grin

ParkheadParadise · 07/12/2019 14:53

It's dd's birthday party today. Twenty (4yrs) running wild in soft play.
I going home to lie on the sofa with a very large whisky.
Tomorrow is a Christmas party, thankfully my mil is taking her to that.

Justonedayatatime11 · 07/12/2019 15:34

We've taken DD to gymnastics, did some food shopping and to see the reindeer. Now home on the sofa with a massive disaranno, bag of salted peanuts and no intention of moving until bedtime. Hope to put the tree up tomorrow if DH is well enough to get it down from the loft

MrsJonesAndMe · 07/12/2019 16:04

We've had a lovely day at a NT property and met Father Christmas. Tomorrow is a less exciting (for the grown ups at least) trip to IKEA.

How about you @Greenbutterlfy566

SantasLittleHelper2019 · 07/12/2019 16:10

Bought the Christmas tree and then DP and I drove to a nearby historical city here in Germany for a night in a small hotel and meeting up with friends at the Christmas Market and our for dinner.

Just spent the afternoon Christmas shopping and now for our feet up before hitting the Gluwein later.

Tomorrow breakfast here - then a drive home and picking up youngest from his dads. Then Christmas tree decorating and a Christmas movie.

lucysmam · 07/12/2019 16:11

We've been for a wander round the Yorkshire Wildlife Park's Christmas fair today. Only bought garlic cheddar, and some sweets for the girls but we had a nice day.

Just on the bus to Asda for a few bits for my Guides to use on Tuesday evening. Then home for a nice Wine.

Tomorrow will mainly be a moochy day in the house. We'll do a bit of baking & I'll fix a radiator that's coming off the wall

MinnieMountain · 07/12/2019 16:16

We had a bike ride with DS today, now we're getting the house ready for friends coming over for Christmas drinks.

DS didn't want to go to bike club as he doesn't want to be ordered about.

DS and I have been to the library.

Tomorrow we'll probably go swimming.

MinnieMountain · 07/12/2019 16:18

You lucky thing tiredsleepysleep We listed to his Christmas album whilst decorating the house. It's compulsory now.
