Naked wines

I've got a £75 voucher for Naked Wines. Came in a magazine. If I use it, whereby purchasing something like £115 worth of wine then getting the 75 off. What is the catch? Do I then have to buy wine from now on? Seems a bit too good to be true!

I use Naked wines a lot. Put in £20 a month. If I decide to take a break or ask for my money back it's not a problem. Unless they've changed their terms and conditions recently I don't think there's a catch. I think there is a minimum spend with the voucher though.

I used to live behind their main office Grin

You pay £20 a month and then put that towards wine. You can cancel at any time. I use them quite often, some of their wines are absolutely delicious. Any you don’t like you get a full refund I believe.

Ah ok. But could I just use this voucher. Get a load of good wine for Xmas then not use them again?

Yeah you can cancel your membership once the wine is delivered. If they do take £20 out they’ll refund it with no quibbles.

Thestinkycheeseman · 06/12/2019 11:12

Just had my wine delivered for Christmas.

Khione · 06/12/2019 11:21

Yep - you can just use the deal and cancel with them and with most of the wine clubs - such as Laithwaites etc.

Enough people carry on with it to make it worth their while to offer this,

IMO their wines are nice but you can get wine that is just as nice from supermarkets for £2 to £3 cheaper so it is not worth keeping it up if money is tight. As a member, you do get good offers periodically though and it is really convenient if you have the money to spare.

mrsawhite · 06/12/2019 11:45

Think I will have a look then. If I can add Prosecco to it will definitely be worth it for upcoming festivities!

We’ve used one of their vouchers with no longer-term obligation, you need to spend more than £75 though iirc. Tbh the wines were a bit crap. Not sure I’ll bother with them again (I have another £75 voucher too) as the top-up money is a waste. I’d rather spend more and have something a bit better.

Barsh · 06/12/2019 11:55

I have to disagree - I think for the price we've had some excellent wines from them. I've had no quibble refunds when they haven't been. We use them a lot. (not alkies honest).

MoveOnTheCards · 06/12/2019 13:08

Will they refund if you just don’t like a wine in one of their selections (after you’ve had it?)?!

MustardScreams · 06/12/2019 13:11

Yep, even if you drink the bottle they’ll still refund. I’ve never had an issue at all, their customer service is usually good.

Whatthefunk · 06/12/2019 13:56

Their customer service is amazing. We ordered a case, 2 weeks ago, at it went missing, before delivery. Because they had sold out of the case we ordered, they upgraded us, to a case worth approximately £100 more. Very happy

MoveOnTheCards · 06/12/2019 20:21

In that case mustard I might try again!

Queenoftheashes · 06/12/2019 21:16

I am drinking my naked wine from my Christmas case rn. It’s great I don’t even have to go to the co-op.

Spudlet · 06/12/2019 21:18

I had a voucher too, got some lovely wine then cancelled with no problems at all. I was pregnant and DH doesn’t drink wine, so there wasn’t much point in continuing with it!

Redwinestillfine · 06/12/2019 21:28

We used our £75 voucher and cancelled no problems. The wine looks great, not tried it yet. We paid £56 for a box of 12 delivered - note there isn't a box for £114, the wording says ' over £114', there is a bottle of fizz in the luxury mix case. We got the standard mix case ( but the wines were more to our taste). After we cancelled they tried to tempt us back with a free £59 voucher. To be honest if I had £20 spare a month we would probably do it, but at the moment we don't.
