Money showing as pending in bank account has disappeared

I bought some Christmas presents from Topman on Saturday and the money showed as pending from my account. It's now disappeared and my order still hasn't been dispatched...what does this mean?

I've rung them and they said yesterday that it would be dispatched by the end of the day but still nothing. The fact that the money is no longer pending makes me think they've cancelled it? I've since read loads of terrible reviews about ordering online with them

I think if the payee doesnt claim the funds within 5 days then the pending payment is cancelled by your bank.

I have no idea what Topmam will do about that though.
