Labour symptoms?

I’ve been feeling very weird. I woke up with diarrhea in the morning, I went on to have a day in bed because I will have a crazy rest of the week and I felt so many period-like cramps under my belly. Also my belly is getting hard out of nowhere. The symptoms aren’t regular but I haven’t had this before, the baby also isn’t moving as much. I felt her move a couple times today but I think because my stomach is so tight and hard I can’t see her movements like I used to? Also a bit of nausea and lack of appetite and I just want to mention that I’ve been sleeping like CRAZY in the past 3-4 days, I could sleep 13 hours without waking up and then going right back to bed for round 2 lol. It can’t be my iron because I took iron for about a month now and my levels went back to normal, so I don’t know what’s going on.

I’m 37 weeks today and this is my first child, is there any way these could be labour symptoms or is there something wrong with me? Confused

Regardless of everything else, if your baby isn't moving as much as normal you need to contact your local antenatal assessment centre or labour ward asap. They will want to see you!!

Agree with PP - if you have reduced movements, ring maternal triage now. They need to check your baby is OK.

Am hoping you are in hospital or have at least been checked out.

All of mine started like this, either awful vomiting or diarrhoea before the tightening started. Didn’t realise that it was labour though as my contractions did not regulate at all with any of them until I actually got to the hospital. (When I couldn’t take the pain anymore)
Each time the maternity ward said it was most likely Brixton hicks (it wasn’t!) and not to go in until they were regular.

Good luck!
