Where to buy Heswall

Hi moving to work near a Chester and looking to buy. Heswall has been suggested as a good place to look as commute will be to north of Chester. Budget up to £700k, but preferably nearer 600-650, don't need to think about schools, detached with a reasonably large garden and at least 3 beds. Not too rural, so can hopefully walk to places, off road parking.
So housefinders any suggestions?

Heswall is a lovely town. Lots of independent shops, Good bus links, train station, good Schools etc. Whilst I don’t live there, I have worked there and I’m sure you should be able to find something with your budget.

Heswall is nice, programme your phone to not autocorrect it!

It’s quite small, personally I’d find somewhere near the shops but like @rubychard I worked not lived there.

Hi are there any other areas near there I could look at? Am thinking of viewing these houses:

Both very nice areas. Property 1 has the benefit of being close to the station. Property 2 could have views over the Dee.

Personally tho I’d be tempted to be a bit closer into town.

West Kirby is nice and is on the merseyrAil train line (better services than Heswall). Also has swimming pool and 2 local grammar schools.

Calday is where all the footballers live (and Rafa Benitez).

Hi Rubychard unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a lot on the market in Heswall just now. When you say closer to town are there any areas you would recommend? Thanks

Thinking about it, those properties aren’t a million miles away from the centre, more of a 10 minute walk. So I’ll take back that comment, if I may.

Any other local knowledge would be great?
