Ford Fiesta car window only coming down by 1 inch...

Electric window on the driver’s side is only opening about one inch before stopping.

Does anyone know what this could be, and will it be an expensive fix?

Three years later I’m having the exact same problem.

Can’t remember what I did to fix it so search MN threads.

Thought my luck was in when I saw the title of this one! 😆

There is a reset “pattern” for many cars. My Land Rover involves turning ignitions and pressing the button a certain number of times.
have a search for fiesta electric window reset and see if it gives you an order to do things.

to add, this often happens when the battery has been disconnected. The system ‘forgets’ and needs a reset.
