Is there any possible way to get the baby to drop? I don’t want to try and induce myself because I’m not sure how safe it is and please don’t judge me but I am m i s e r a b l e. Sad it’s my first baby and everyone says first babies are late and I just can’t keep her in for another 4 weeks. My back hurts, I’ve been having cramping like period pains and she’s hitting my ribs. Let me not talk about the swollen feet that keep coming and going or the tiredness OR my worst enemy: heartburn.
I just want her to drop I think I’ll feel better just knowing she’s not in my ribs anymore and she might make her appearance any time soon.

Please don't try to do anything. You need to let it happen naturally.

Take some paracetamol and have a hot bath. I know it's not nice but baby will be here before you know it.

It standard antacids aren't working, speak to your MW.

Look up the Spinning Babies website and get on a gym ball pronto.

You don't have to suffer with the heartburn - get some omeprazole (proton pump inhibitor). I was prescribed it at 35 weeks and it was honestly life changing, I really felt like I couldn't hack much longer being pregnant before but now I'm able to cope so much better.
