Disappointing and well just weak. That is it.

Really? I loved it. Wasn't expecting anything from it, had no imm idea what it was about but I came out feeling a wee bit fuzzy and a bit puffy from crying.

LoseLooseLucy · 04/12/2019 23:40

I don't expect anything more than disappointing and weak from Emilia "eyebrow acting" Clarke tbh.

Overseasmom100 · 04/12/2019 23:41

Nah didnt do it for me. Every scene they 'threw in' a George Michael song...wasnt even that well delivered. Right at the end Last Christmas she killed it. Disappointing...

She was annoying.

It looks vapid in the trailer, so I can't imagine what a couple of hours of it must be like to endure (especially when you've paid for a cinema ticket so feel obliged to keep your eyes open throughout Grin).

friedbeansandcheese · 04/12/2019 23:43

What did you expect? It’s like the Queen musical or Mamma Mia - built around a band’s songs.

Overseasmom100 · 04/12/2019 23:45

I hated Mama Mia....

Ooo most exciting bit was seeing Andrew Ridgley at the end!!!!

I liked it as did my teen daughter and husband. Unusual to find a Christmas film we all like! I did have low expectations as it has been panned by the critics.

ForalltheSaints · 08/12/2019 13:33

I was not going to watch it and thanks for effectively supporting my decision!

Joyfulincolour · 08/12/2019 13:42

I had high hopes for it. It was ok but I wouldn't watch it again and wouldn't have paid to see it at the cinema had I have known! It's a Sunday afternoon channel 5 type of film!

patchworkelephant123 · 08/12/2019 13:48

It was really disappointing, an eye roll worthy story line.

Patroclus · 08/12/2019 13:51

yessss the eyebrow acting, whats that all about? did she go to the same drama school as Emma Watson? (I say drama school, they actually just get their loaded parents to get them parts)

Overseasmom100 · 08/12/2019 15:08

Yes agree a tv film. It was 2 for 1 Meercat so not too pricey
