Christmas delivery

We are having Christmas at my house this year for the first time.

I've been in supermarkets before Christmas (shopping and working) and they are packed so I decided to do an online delivery. This is currently full of wine which needs to be amended (just to secure the delivery). Although if I forget to amend I won't be too saddened with 15 bottles of wine 😜

I got my turkey but what I'm asking is if I order my veg and other Christmassy bits (twiglets, cheese, quality street etc) what's the likelihood of it being delivered with items missing which means I have to go shopping thus causing the delivery to be almost pointless?

I got my turkey in advance because 1. It was a good price and 2. This was the most important item so didn't want to risk being substituted for a pair of steaks.

Separate note, due to logistics it's just me, DH and baby DS on Christmas Day. DS doesn't know or care for Christmas just yet so how can I make it a special day rather than just another day at home with DH and DS?
