Grrr who doesn't teach their kids to say thank you?

Probably should be 30 days only or AIBU or something... Anyway just venting. My 15yr old neice hasn't even bothered to text or WhatsApp thanks for the card and money for her birthday. Tempted not to bother next year....

Hmm...I hear you! My nephews are the same. They are lovely but never thank me for money or vouchers sent. I know I shouldn't, but I find myself passive aggressively asking my sister if they received them! She has the good grace to be a bit embarrassed Grin

It's commonplace where I live in Germany. Too much "Danke" and 'sorry' is seen as a sign of weakness! HmmConfused

@SunshineDays2019 did that, my sister doesn't get embarrassed but defensive and has had a strop and now left the family WhatsApp group Hmm when in a private discussion with me says I'm selfish 😂 and I think it's all about me!!! FFS...
