DH is watching the snooker on BBC 2, there are 4 people talking about the frames in the studio and 3 commentators talking during the frames.
Does it really need 7 people to talk about snooker.
I wouldn't like to guess how much they are all being paid.

No wonder why the public question the licence fee.

I am so with you. I am in Scotland, and whenever there’s a main new story on the UK news, it’s immediately followed by a different reporter telling us the same story in the same place, on Reporting -Glasgow- Scotland !!

Sorry strikethrough didn’t work.

And don’t get me started on the new BBC Scotland channel....

Yes neither of us understand the snooker obsession - or darts!

I like snooker.
compared to other sports i bet the BBC pay much less.

ScreamingValenta · 04/12/2019 17:05

You could say that about almost any programme with more than one presenter/panellist. Does 'Strictly Come Dancing' need six people to discuss dancing? Does 'Have I Got News For You' need five people to make witty comments about the news?

I'm not a particular fan of snooker, but plenty of people do like it and it obviously adds to their enjoyment to have a well-rounded discussion of the game.

It's the awful links/ads between programmes on BBC that drive me mad. The one with the couple sitting on the sofa which is currently on all the time is giving me the rage! Pointless.
