Boring thread - how do you clean a really gunky bathroom?

DH is allergic to everything soap so he washes with Oilatum products. This is fine but I cannot stand the greasy residue they leave in the bath - normal bathroom products just don’t seem to cut through it properly and every bathroom sponge ends up coated in grease after a few passes. I’ve tried Koh which is my wonder product for the rest of the house but even that doesn’t seem up to the job. Have also experimented with kitchen cleaner as that tends to be geared towards greasier stuff, but it’s still a nightmare to clean. Does anyone have any miraculous way to clean a really mucky bathroom other than divorcing DH in favour of a model who isn’t allergic to normal washing stuff??

(Before anyone starts with ‘get him to clean it himself’ - we take it in turns to clean the bathroom but both find it a nightmare)

Washing up liquid!
I've also had great results from a magic eraser sponge.
Follow up with one of those shower sprays designed to stop grease and limescale taking hold.

When the bath is dry, wipe well with kitchen roll first. Then plenty of washing up liquid squirted round, a good rub with a microfibres cloth then hot rinse.
If you damage the surface of your bath with abrasive products, it will never stay clean.

Sugar soap spray might do it.
