Popular foods you cannot stand

I cannot stand peanut butter to the point where if it’s in the house I feel uncomfortable Butter from peanuts...it’s just wrong!

What popular foods can you not stand?

Spaghetti is definitely the worst pasta.

Curry. And I can't understand why people are so shocked when I say I don't like it when it has such a distinctive taste.

Rocket. It tastes of burnt rubber and I can always detect it if it's in a pre-prepared or restaurant salad, even in tiny quantities. Ditto coriander.

Oh yes, balsamic vinegar.

Hate the stuff.

Goats cheese is REVOLTING
Also Gin, Tonic
Marzipan
Tuna and other tinned, oily fish

Marzipan is shit. Used to make me so sad when a birthday cake was marzipan.

Tuna. Such cruelty involved too.

Salted caramel
Mint ice cream

Forgot, anything thats "fruit flavoured" without any fruit actually being involved. So, most cheap fizzy drinks etc. It was so easy giving them up when they all switched to artificial sweeteners (which trigger my migraines). Those foam banana sweet things are hideous.

I hate ice cream and coke

Eggs. They taste like a fart in solid form.

Shrimp/Prawns. Underwater cockroaches.

Mushrooms. Rubbery dirt.

I can't understand why people eat any of them.

Mayonnaise; nuts, coleslaw, salad dressing, anything salady, beetroot, raw onion, raw tomato (love them cooked though).

Oh, and coriander leaves in curry, just vile. The ground coriander spice is ok though.

Milk. Can't stand it in anything. Can't stand the smell of it.
Peanut butter. Have never tried it. It looks and smells revolting.

The only thing I agree with on this thread is marzipan. Truly horrid, although I love almonds.

Cream.
I wish I liked it, because it's very awkward when your hostess has made two desserts both slathered with it, and you have to say sorry, it does look nice but I can't - even when you've told her the same more than once before.

Milk in tea - maybe related to the above. Tastes seriously vile to me.

catwithflowers I agree about marzipan and almonds, how can they taste so different?

Chinese takeaway - I used to live in a flat above a really bad one and it put me off for life.
Tomato ketchup - I think I would rather eat anything other than this
Sweets - they just hurt my teeth

Hummus. I'd actually had recurring nightmares of my mouth being full of sludge, and when I tasted hummus for the first time I found it had exactly the same texture as the stuff I'd had nightmares about!

Matcha , I mean what's the point it tastes weird. My husband gave me a matcha kit kat it was awful, sickly and was like eating green lard 🤢

macha tastes like 'headache' to me (difficult to describe )

Doughnuts.
Most takeaways/fast food.
Blackcurrents, anything blackcurrent flavour.
Ditto aniseed/licorice.
Meat, anything that tastes like meat.
Olive oil, olives.
Full fat milk.
Mushrooms.
Mangoes.
