On friday i had a text message from the council asking me to ring or text to arrange a property inspction
The DC became ill on friday evening and have been off school and nursery all week, im not well either so texting back slipped my mind
Today i had a man banging on the door, he stepped away from my door and waited on my path for a few minutes, went away, came back with a missed you appoibtment set up letter and waited again
When i realised it was the council man i was a bit annoyed to be honest. Im in temporary accomidation so i dont know if the rules are different but i didnt think they could just turn up for an inspection without formally informing me of the date?
I text the number that text me explaining i have anxiety so dont answer the door to strangers and could they text to arrange an appointment, he tried ringing me once id text him and hasnt text me back
Is he going to just randomly turn up again? Im never unwell and this illness has wiped me out, if he can come next week it will be great but now im anxious he is going to just turn up and ill get in trouble if if i keep not answering although i have text explainibg why
