What impossible things have your DCs requested for Christmas

DS (7) is a bit of a dreamer. This morning he handed me a piece of paper (I've tided up the spelling)

Dear Mummy and Daddy

For Christmas please can I have a trip to the moon. I also want 2 dragons to collect treasure and caves for them to live in.. and a big pile of lolly pops.

Me and dd will buy you chocolates and a pretty thing.

Make his room like the moon with glow stickers and an astronaut outfit.

2 dragon soft toys, treasure box with coins and jewels and make a den for them on the day.

Mix some lollipops in with the treasure.

I agree with happyspud suggestions they sound lovely and pretty much what I was going to say too!

Poundland do bags of diamonds in the bridal sections. and hobbycraft have loads of colour your own houses/rockets big enough for him to fit in which you could set up with the dragons.

On facebook i have seen that next year there is going to be a moon on tour exhibition. I don't know where you are but it is coming to our local cathedral - could you get tickets if it's coming close to you?

I love that suggestion Happyspud and its seems so obvious when you say it. Funny how my mind went blank when confronted with dragons and trips to the moon :)

We are also considering taking him to the National Space Centre in Leicester as a pre- Christmas treat - must phone and check whether they throw in a trip to the moon :)

My DD requested rainbow ink for her quill pen. I explained that being muggles we can't have rainbow ink, but that she might get red ink, green ink yellow ink etc...
