The police took a statement from my 8 year old son about sexual abuse.
I have been trying to get a copy of the statement since September and we have a CAFCASS meeting soon. I need the statement as my ex is saying that I made up the abuse allegations but it was my son who told his teacher and they contacted children’s services who then brought in the police. yesterday the police eventually responded saying I am not entitled to have a copy of this and if CAFCASS need it, they have to apply, has anyone else had this problem?
