Wierd flat slightly crusty mole on breast can apparently be just caused by bra- can anyone reassure me?

I will definitely get this checked by my GP but right now I'm terrified!

I've noticed a light brown, flat kind of mole like thing on my breast. Its not far from the nipple, so away from anywhere that sees the sun.

It's slightly crusty I think (sorry if tmi), as in the roo is a little rough or flakey bug not crusty in an oozing way. It's about 5mm diameter. I know it's ridiculous but I'm not sure if it's new.

My friend has told me she's had these and that can be caused by your bra rubbing!

I'm so hoping she's right.

Any reassurance would be so gratefully received. I will see my Gp of course.

Likely nothing OP, but get it checked anyway.

I've had about 3 odd things on my boobs recently, but all caused by my bra strap, so definitely possible!

Seborrheic keratosis perhaps?
Do get it checked out, I found one on the underside of my best and wasn't sure how long it had been there.

I had a crusty one on my back checked out and the GP said it wasn’t absolutely fine, get it checked out but I’m sure it will be nothing.

I've got these as well had them for ages.

Winecheesesleep · 03/12/2019 19:34

Obviously get it checked out but it sounds like Seborrheic keratosis to me too.

peoplepleaser1 · 03/12/2019 19:36

Yes! Seborrheic keratosis That's what my friend thought it could be.

I will get it checked out but I'm very hopeful that it's that rather than Anything sinister !

My back is covered in those keratosis things. I get them all checked every year but they're always fine. Get it looked at for peace of mind

Likethebattle · 03/12/2019 20:05

I have exactly the same where my back rubs at the back. GP wasn’t concerned unless it grows or starts bleeding.

vampirethriller · 03/12/2019 20:19

I've got a couple on the side of my boob where my bra rubs and one on my back.

Is it in the place a third nipple could be? There's a line that they can follow. I've got one just under where my underwire sits, been there forever.
