We always just gave a handmade card/writing when she could write at nursery but DD's reception teacher and tas have helped a lot with her (some sen) so I'd like to get something they'd like. But what do I get?

I have this feeling we'd make a card as usual but would they be offended if we bought classroom resourses rather than 3 bottles of wine. I could buy many glue sticks for the best part of 30 quid. Or would they be offended?

I'm a ta and I love a handmade card. I keep them all and then after bad days I get them out to cheer myself up.

I don't drink and I really don't need any more choc or sweets as I'm fat enough. My skin’a sensitive so I can't use most toiletries and don't use candles as I have young children.

So my class would be thrilled with glue sticks, crayons, felts etc or a new story.

We really don't do it for the presents and to just see the kids improving is great.
