iPhone 11 case/ wallet(?) recommendations - has to be idiot proof

I drop my phone. I try not to but I do. I’ve had the Griffin survivor for my iPhone 6plus for ages and it’s good but right now I’m writing on the screen that is 3 mm away from the rest of the phone
I thought a wallet for the new phone would be better to protect the screen (I will use the glass screen too) but now worried the (p)leather case won’t be enough? What can you recommend for butter fingers?

I bought one that folds overs the front and has space for cards. It's not very trendy but it does the job
