Boredom Busting after Operation

thinking2019 · 03/12/2019 15:50

Having an operation in a few weeks. Going to be unable to do much for about 4-6 weeks. Will have to be on bed rest for 2 weeks at least.

Any ideas of what I can watch, read or do to stop the boredom!

I've thought about learning to crochet before. Might be the prefect time to give it a go!

If you don’t already have it, Netflix might do a 30-day free trial.

You may find your attention span is very short and the pain meds mess your head up. I speak from experience. Magazines rather than books, finish knitting/crochet rather than starting, playing easy computer games but mainly mapping.

If you can't already knit/ crochet perhaps get yourself some craft kits with a knitting loom or dolly/French knitting - they tend to be much easier to get going and you can actually make something nice.
Come to think of it, there are loads of great craft kits, especially at this time of year, try The Works and get a few. Xmas Grin
