Norovirus for 2 weeks!

Just having a moan at the moment!
My dd is 5 and has had norovirus for almost 2 weeks now.
I'm so baffled by it because she seemed fine for 2 days and last night without any warning the vomiting started again.
Within half an hour I was vomiting! Now both of us are just on the sofa sipping water and feeling pretty rough.
On all the websites it says it usually clears within 2-3 days so I'm now really concerned as to why my daughters hasn't cleared.
We were at the dr last week as I really concerned about the severe tummy pain she was having. Thankfully that has gone now but the vomiting just appeared out of nowhere!
I don't want to bring her back to the dr and risk spreading the virus so I'm tempted to make a telephone appoint to see if this is normal.
Has anyone else had norovirus for longer than a few days?

She is potentially reinfecting herself. Has she been sick on soft furnishings because the virus can linger in carpets. The best way to clean is with steam because the heat kills the virus.

Proper handwashing is also a must.

Is she getting enough fluids, because that's a risk after being poorly for so long. Diarolyte is good.

Phone the Dr's, it sounds like a good plan.

Hooe she feels better soon.

Oh that's a good idea, we vaxxed the carpet after the first bout and thankfully since then she's managed to get to the toilet or bowl.
Steaming might be a better idea.

I've been disinfecting as I go along, antibac wipes everywhere. Washing all the bedding in antibacterial cleanser.
She's been taking dioralyte since we've been to the drs last week and got some and shes good about drinking water too.

It's just so frustrating.
Thank you!

Don’t eat or drink and dairy.

Norovirus is a virus so anti bac is useless. You need bleach and hot water
