Clicked on New Looks site to be greeted with a 'teaser' as the site is very busy.....

10x2 then add 1 (order of operations says brackets, multiply, add, subtract.)

  1. Dress is 10, each shoe is 2 and each shirt is 1. Multiply before adding.

The shoes and shirt being in pairs earlier then singular in the last one always throws people.

48, unless it’s significant that there are two shirts and only one shoe in the last two lines. In which case it’s 22.

Took me longer than I'd like to admit - totally forgot the BODMAS.

I knew if I posted someone clever would come along! I initially had 22 and couldn't think for the life of me how New Look got to 21 (wonders if new look sell dunces hats.....)

What is the answer?

Cat symbol = 10
Shoes = 4
Top = 2.
2 + 10 x 4
= 2 + 40
= 42

10+4+4 = 18
4-2 = 2
1 + 10 x 2 = 21
(There's only 1 shoe and 1 shirt so you half those values) 10x2 done first +1

Pair of shoes = 4
2 tops = 2
and dress (not cat) = 10

Top + dress x shoe = 1 + 10 x 2 = 1 = 20 = 21!
