Chicken pox vaccine

My DD's nursery has contacted me to say they have a confirmed case of chicken pox (it doesn't say if it is dd's room).

If she has been exposed to it, would getting a chicken pox vaccine done tomorrow help her to not develop it or make it less severe if she does get it?

We had been considering it but hadn't made a decision yet, but this might speed things up!
