Not only did my clothes get darked on...

Ah, I remember a happy memory of being at my granny’s as a child some 40+ years ago: she had hung the washing out in winter and it had frozen. I remember two pairs of my brother’s jeans being frozen, and one was in a position that made it look like it was taking a step.
DB and I laughed for hours.

it was about 9° and very sunny when i put them out to dry!

I once let my clothes get darked on for a few nights.
when I did take them in, inside my t-shirt was a giant flying cockroach.
took ages to get it out of the house.
I don't do darked on much anymore.

Frozen jeans v much a part of my childhood too.

I've seen people regularly hanging clothes out in the snow and minus 8 or so up here. I've always wondered what the point is but maybe some people like frozen clothing? :o :o extra fresh!

I put the underwear in the tumble dryer yesterday and forgot about them. They’ve not been “darked on” but I think they’ve been damped on!
