Flight radar fans - red planes

Just noticed that there are lots of red planes on FR.

When I googled it said they are “squawking an emergency”.

Strange that there are so many at the same time.

No red ones now, whatever it was must be over

There's a helicopter, not had that before though

Mine are all yellow.. Maybe a browser glitch op

Yes I've started looking at Scotland and scandinavia and found loads of helicopters.

There's a helicopter, not had that before though

I heard a very loud (very low) helicopter yesterday. It was buzzing round for ages, so I assume it was the police one. But it didn't show on FR.

So how does other air traffic avoid them? I live in an area where there are lots of helicopters for various reasons)

Go look around Central America and find the Project Loon balloons

I like the ‘vehicles’ around airports... zoom in at Heathrow and you see lots of them. They make me laugh, I know I’m a loser!
