Flight radar fans - red planes

SuperficialSuzie · 02/12/2019 06:49

Just noticed that there are lots of red planes on FR.

When I googled it said they are “squawking an emergency”.

Strange that there are so many at the same time.

Yes I've started looking at Scotland and scandinavia and found loads of helicopters.

I heard a very loud (very low) helicopter yesterday. It was buzzing round for ages, so I assume it was the police one. But it didn't show on FR.

So how does other air traffic avoid them? I live in an area where there are lots of helicopters for various reasons)

Go look around Central America and find the Project Loon balloons

I like the ‘vehicles’ around airports... zoom in at Heathrow and you see lots of them. They make me laugh, I know I’m a loser! Grin
