I can make a mean moussaka; the recipe I use is by George's mum from Masterchef Australia (easily found online). It is AMAZING, complete pain in the arse to prepare but so worth it when your guests demolish it and hoover up seconds which you'd saved for the next day

Can you share your recipe for chili chicken wings please? Smile

HollowTalk · 01/12/2019 13:18

Cheans on toast (branston baked beans smothered on top of cheddar cheese all over two slices of toasted bread)

Super noodles (noodles of the super variety lovingly prepared in a bowl)

Bouillabaisse, lamb fillet with roast sweet potato and spinach and lemon tart.

Aposterhasnoname · 01/12/2019 14:12

Spicy seafood pasta followed by malteasers cheesecake. Bloody gorgeous even if I do say so myself.

Informal - veggie lasagne then chocolate Guinness cake

More formal but not actually formal at all - individual mushroom and stilton pies with buttered new potatoes and steamed vege followed by plums poached in port with Greek yogurt

Garlic & mozzarella mushrooms
Stuffed chicken breasts
Choc chip apple crumble & custard

Disfordarkchocolate · 01/12/2019 14:33

Cake, many types of cake.

mbosnz · 01/12/2019 15:34

Shepherds pie, chicken casserole, fish sambal, fish pie, macaroni cheese, red wine marinaded lamb shanks, roast chicken and roasties. I'm a comfort food sort of a cook.

S: sticky teriyaki chicken wings
M: roast and all the trimmings
D: one of the school cakes and custard

God these sound great

Chelsea26 · 01/12/2019 16:10

If I’m showing off...

S: French Onion Soup
M: Slow roasted leg of lamb with onion, garlic, tomatoes, thyme, mint and redcurrent jelly. Potato dauphinois and green beans.
D: sticky toffee pudding and ice cream

If I just want my friends to stuff their faces

Tartiflette

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 01/12/2019 16:14

For face stuffing, the mother of all veggie chillies with rice, a couple of homemade salsas, and all the trimmings

Followed by chocolate brownies and ice cream
